Cold Springs Cemetery Investigation- Part 1
By PIT

As the time neared 1:00, we packed all our equipment and walked the ever so long rd down to the cemetery. As we neared we got a sense of, we are not alone here. It was kinda freaky because with little red lights on the graves light up and looked creepy at night. As we let our eyes adjust, we began to find our equipment by the bell tower over a grave stone. We lost the compose, and while this was going on my brother Aaron, take my camera and toke a picture of the grave by the stone we were at. Eventually a few minutes later we found the compass, which we felt led to. The recorder was on the whole time. We then started our investigation. We walked by the veteran’s section, and we began to see shadow people near the crematory. We went to it and nothing. We got plenty of readings, Evp’s, of the “move”, and pictures. At 1:37, the bell tower sounded, on which scared us a little we began to run but stopped as it ended suddenly. We got the feeling that a whole bunch of sprits were there with us, watching us leave.

Cold Springs Cemetery Investigation-Part 2
By PIT
The time was 1:00 we entered threw the gate, and our medium felt as though the spirits were here. We passed the bell tower and went to the grave to see if we could get any readings, we started our journey towards the woods, we began feeling as though we were being followed. Later on, we found that Evp’s were caught, were of a solider possibly, and a person trying to warn us, maybe the hitchhiker that was murdered. We started heading towards a section that may have been for children, very young babies.

Old federal building investigation
By pit
Our investigation took place at an old federal building in buffalo. The place was used for people to be recruited and enter into the military. History has it that a man, who was recently discharged from the service, walked in and shot his recruiter and killed him.  Just recently the building manager past away, and the guard at the building told us some information. The night the manager pasted away, he had come down from his rounds and found all the fans turned on in the first floor area. We also were told, that no matter who is there, they always say that the second and third floor is creepy.
We started with an evp sweep of the building, when all of a sudden; Justin experienced seeing the top of a head go by the computer cabinets. We were in the room, when they had found the fans running, when Justin decided to sit in a chair and record the hot spot. He was looking straight at a door, when suddenly a light swoop down into his face (he could see it in the camera and with his naked eye) and he felt a coldness go right thru him. We also picked up evp’s on the second and fourth floors. Erik and Bill heard what sounded like a voice on the second floor, this floor was also used to house mental patient at one time. During this investigation, the team experienced both temperature changes, and hearing voices.

The USS The Sullivans Investigation-part 1
By PIT

The investigation of the USS The Sullivan’s, took place on the evening of November 13, 2007 on the 65th anniversary of the death of the Sullivan brothers. The five brothers, while serving in the navy together, went down during the sinking of the USS Juno. Thus naming the Sullivan ship in honor of the brothers, and never again would siblings be on one ship together again .which brings us to the present, pit was called in to investigate the haunting of the Sullivan. It is said that the ship is haunted by the oldest brother George. We met up with one of the maintenance crew Eddie who told us, that doors mysteriously become unlocked and that electrical equipment would turn on by itself (radar, lights, etc.) While we were on the investigation, our radios were malfunctioning, and while we began to set up our base, in one of the officer’s quarters this occurred on us. While doing our preliminaries, we saw something move and went to investigate. During the night, every one present herd taping in the ship, (latter we would find out it was Morse  code (check evp’s) this would persist all night. As we split into teams, I sent the recon team to the front of the ship and our team went to the back of the ship. When we got on deck, we saw a shadow moving across the back of the ship and I chased after it, while Erik took a picture. About 15 minutes later, the recon team moved into the same area and saw the same shadow and we didn’t share yet. They also went where the sleeping berths were, and lay on the cots. While Justin was laying in one of the cots, he felt something touch his foot and they got an EVP saying”that’s mine.” (That’s ok you can have it!! lol)
Later we found pictures of possible apparitions on the ships deck by the medical facility, were sailors who had died. It was one of the creepiest hunts we were ever on, and it was an honor to go aboard a ship with a decorated service. There is to much to report in such a short segment, but if you want more info send us an e-mail and we will get the information to you.
We are starting a film series about local famous hauntings in the western New York area. If there are any places you would like to share with us, or if you need pit for an investigation please contact us at paranormalteam2004@yahoo.com
Until next time happy hunting!!!  Bill (team leader)

Feb.29, 2008 the Wilson House inn investigation
The Wilson house inn was built in 1844 by Luther Wilson it was erected over the 1st school house in town just like many of the buildings in the Niagara frontier at this time they were stop overs for soldiers of fort Niagara, and are extremely haunted. Our investigation began at 11:00. Friday night we began setting up our remote cameras when the spot where they said they saw an apparition the camera would not work we tried everything and then about 20 minutes before we packed up it came on!! Most of the action that we found was in the basement, dining room, and farthest room upstairs, this room has a long history of paranormal activity from orbs to full blown apparitions, stories from patrons to housekeeping, such reports as something sitting on the bed and actually seeing the butt print to seeing a full blown apparition. We believe that might be what we saw in the dining room (see video) we encountered many evp’s and extreme temperature and emf readings we also felt something following us around are instruments were picking up this. We picked up lots of orbs and even a face in a mirror on one of our remotes! All together there is a lot of activity in this place it scores high on the haunting chart. In the future we will be going in the Van Horn Mansion another of Niagara frontiers famous haunts, well until next time “happy hunting” bill/group leader.

August 1, 2008 the Van Horn Mansion investigation
This was one of our most exciting hunts I have ever been on. This mansion was built in 1823 by James Van Horn who also owned a grist mill burned down by the British during the war of 1812 and then was rebuilt. I tip my hat to the Newfane historical society for their work and love for this place. (It is also a museum) Our hunt began with a sweep of the grounds and while at Melinda’s grave (James Van Horn’s wife who died in child birth) we got extreme readings and our other team smelled lilacs (none are there) and it seemed that something was following us around. Inside at our command post, mike and Alex were picking things up with our 8 remote cameras, not only did we carry voice recorders but we left a few in hot areas. We found a face in one of the front windows and also saw a small shadow (possibly of a child) in the nursery by one of the remote cameras. We got a large amount of evp’s and are still reviewing them this was a great hunt we are going back again and I will give a longer report then this. 19th century hauntings such as the Van Horn Mansion, the Wilson House inn, and Cold Springs Cemetery, brings to light how active the Niagara frontier was in its day and how we will continue to study this area extensively. Some how I feel they must tie in together in some way, so we will keep searching. Until next time, “happy hunting” bill/group leader.
